Padgett OBGYN is committed to serving the women of Acadian, in the highest quality of healthcare. We understand the enormous trust you put into your physicians and the importance of building a strong relationship with your caregivers. 

  We are experienced in managing routine and high-risk pregnancies. We offer in-office ultrasound and prenatal testing with lab on second floor. Our doctors are prepared to provide thoughtful guidance and education throughout your pregnancy in hopes that you feel prepared for your delivery. From routine wellness to complex problems, our practice is skilled in comprehensive gynecological services. We perform surgeries and procedures in the hospital and outpatient surgery center. We are trained in minimally invasive surgical procedures and aim to provide the most up to date techniques.

Our office is conveniently located at, 1211 Coolidge Street, Suite 405 in the Burdin Riehl building. This location allows for parking in a covered parking tower. Our office is also conveniently located across the street from, Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.

Our Obstetrical is provided at OLGMC & OLOLWCH. We will strive to make your prenatal care and delivery experience a truly remarkable and memorable one. We are open to your needs and desires for your individual birth experience. OLGMC is a care center providing adult and neonatal services to care for mother and baby.

Charles Padgett, M.D.

Dr. Charles Padgett is a native of Opelousas, La. He graduated from LSU, then his medical school education at LSU in New Orleans. His residency training at LSU-Charity Hospital in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He started his private practice in 1989.

Stephen Padgett, M.D.

Dr. Stephen Padgett is a native of Lafayette, La. He graduated from ULL, then his medical school education at LSU in New Orleans. His residency training at LSUSOM OBGYN (Baton Rouge) in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He started his private practice in 2020.
